Los Angeles drivers sit in traffic with direct sun exposure for hours every day. Untreated glass transmits up to 70% of solar heat into your cabin and nearly all UV radiation — accelerating dashboard fading and making the interior genuinely uncomfortable.
Tint Factory installs Solar Gard ceramic automotive films — XenithIR® and VortexIR® — engineered to reject up to 63% of heat while maintaining crystal clarity and preserving all electronic signals.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the best ceramic window tint in Los Angeles?
For maximum heat rejection and UV protection, we recommend Solar Gard XenithIR® — it delivers up to 63% heat reduction and maintains all electronic signals including cellular and GPS.
How long does car window tinting last?
Solar Gard ceramic films are warranted for life under normal use. In the Los Angeles climate, properly installed ceramic films typically last 10–15+ years without fading, peeling, or bubbling.
Will window tinting affect my Tesla or electric vehicle's range or sensors?
Non-metallic ceramic films (XenithIR® and VortexIR®) do not interfere with electronic signals, cellular reception, GPS, or radar-based safety systems. We recommend ceramic films for all EVs and vehicles with advanced driver-assistance systems.
Can window tinting cause my windows to crack?
Improperly matched film on certain glass types can cause thermal stress fractures in rare cases — particularly on older vehicles with non-tempered glass. We assess your vehicle's glass type before installation to eliminate this risk.
How soon after tinting can I roll down my windows?
We recommend waiting 3–5 days (longer in cooler or humid weather) before operating the windows to allow the film adhesive to cure fully against the glass.
